Take the Play Rethink Challenge. The Play Rethink team will be running fun game sessions every hour and will get you rethinking about your lifestyle, your environment and about different ways we can make it better. Come to play Rethink and share your ideas throughout the day and join one of the 5 themed round tables (environment, education, community, health and entrepreneurship). How will you rethink a vacuum cleaner for a community?? Or a toaster that uses renewable energy??
Rethink your school. Can you imagine the school of the future? Can you picture your classroom being the most flexible and nourishing learning environment? The schools of today are incorporating vocational courses, personalised learning and new technologies which means that new schools are very different from those which have gone before. Sharon Wright, Associate with the British Council for School Environments (BCSE) and Lili Larratea, Creative Director of Play Rethink, have joined forces to get you rethinking about your school furniture. Rows of desks and uncomfortable chairs just won't be good enough! Come and co-design your own school of the future. This is a fun and dynamic workshop: bring your most radical thinking, be ready to share your ideas and expect to laugh and have a good time. Who knows, you might even invent the next best thing!
